Housing Information Event
People with learning disabilities, their families and carers were invited to a drop-in style information event on Monday 18th April 2011. They could get information on different types of housing and support including assistive technology, and talk to people who could help.
The event was at Oxstalls Tennis Centre in Gloucester. It was a great success with about one hundred people attending.

Silver Surfer's Day
On Friday 21st May 2010 we gave residents over the age of 50 a chance to understand more about using the internet and Gloucestershire Homeseeker.
The special one-day event was organised by Cheltenham Borough Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council to teach older residents how to register and bid for properties using the Gloucestershire Homeseeker website.
The sessions on offer were at Cheltenham Library, Hester's Way Resource Centre and Oakley Community Resource Centre in Cheltenham, and at Marina Court in Tewkesbury.
As well as wanting to understand how Gloucestershire Homeseeker works, many residents turned out to seek help and support to access the internet and enhance their computer skills.
